Greetings lovelies and thanks for connecting again!
So I have been quiet on the blog for a bit but gradually settling back into blogging. It can be quite challenging keeping it alive when you are juggling mum life, business, work, family, children and all the blessings that come with being a mum lol
Its the last day in May already?
This is one month I look back on and thank God for His Grace …(not that I do not thank God for all the other months though).. anyhoo, a few highlights..
- My daughter turned 5: Grateful for the grace of God upon her and the ability to support this young nation! She is always supportive in the kitchen. She calls me “yummy mummy cook” lol
- It was national mental health awareness week – I had the opportunity of interviewing a lovely lady Rev Lade Olugbemi on a Facebook live session- The founder of The Nous organisation on Facebook, an advocate for mental health especially amongst the black and minority ethnic groups.
The state of our mental health is so important to assess on a regular basis and take a step back when we feel overwhelmed. Prolonged exposure to mental distress can lead to mental melt down..
Personally, I take sometime to relax / step back when I feel overwhelmed. Let’s face it, the world is busy and its never going to change but we have control over the actions that we take.
As busy mums running a home, working, having a business, family, relationships, marriage etc. Our lives can be challenging and joggling a lot of things can cause emotional & physical stress. EMOTIONAL DECLUTTERING is so important. You need to have a balance between the spiritual, the body and the (mind) -NOUS
I am making updates on my Youtube channel so will be posting the interview at some point. If you have never visited my youtube channel, check it out TrayceesFoodFashion
- I finally sorted out my author headshots lol. All I can say is, its never too late to get anything done.
As we end the month of May and the children are on half term, take some time to relax, unwind and spend time with them! I will be doing a mini Facebook live session / recording with a yummy mummy Youtuber tomorrow 01 June at 12noon featuring a recipe from the tasty kids recipes cook book :).
Take sometime to give thanks, live more and love more…
Until next post
“Keep making a difference”
Blessings and Love
