Greetings lovelies as they say, a lovely May month so far. I just can’t wait for the summer to roll in full time here in the UK lol. I hope you and your awesome family are doing great and connecting well through those family meal times together. Its amazing how food helps to build relationship and increase interaction. My meal plan for busy mums has been helpful for many mums and I am grateful for the feedback received. Thank you

I thought to share a simple and quick “how to ” for one of the foods in the meal planner which was requested by some mums – chicken nuggets!Funny I posted this a while ago on Traycees Facebook community.
My children love them and it’s simple and quick. All you need are….
– Raw chicken breast fillets
– A bowl of white flour seasoned with a dash of black pepper
– Some whisked eggs in a bowl with a dash of salt
– A bowl of natural breadcrumbs seasoned with crushed knorr seasoning
– 2 tbsp. Olive (cooking spoon size) for shallow frying.
Clean the raw chicken breast fillet and cut into smaller pieces. Put to a side
Align your filled deep bowls in this order from left to right
Flour——> eggs———> breadcrumbs
Roll chicken in flour initially, then dip in eggs and finish off coating in breadcrumbs
In a pan, heat up the olive oil on medium heat until fairly hot, not over heated. Add the chicken gradually and shallow fry for at least 10 minutes, making sure that the heat goes right into the chicken to cook it.
Once cooked and golden brown. Drain and allow to cool before serving with favourite veggies. ..I served mine with sweetcorn.
Simple, quick and tasty too!
a try and don’t forget to send your feedback! Have a blessed weekend!
